Got this as a present and finally got to start reading it. So far it's very good, somewhat dark but very interesting.

This is a really thought-provoking book - on the threat to traditional working-class culture from mass culture and thus on the harms that the working class' newfound literacy allows other players to inflict.
Very relevant also today, even though it was written in 1957.
